Sitka Sound Seafoods is one of the quiet champions of the Fish to Schools program. In the middle of busy fishing seasons and fast-paced processing schedules, their team still makes time to receive, track, and prepare donated salmon that ends up nourishing students across Sitka.

Their expertise and care ensure every fish moves safely and beautifully from deck to lunch tray—turning local generosity into healthy, meaningful meals for our kids.

In addition to facilitating our annual Fish to Schools Drive, SSS is a major contributor to the fish to schools program through donating fish and the cost of processing.

Sitka Conservation Society believes that stewarding the Tongass is the foundation of our local seafood industry and in turn supports major local employers like SSS.

Seafood Processor, year-round. Any individual who is energetic, and able to perform a variety of manual labor tasks. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to offloading products from vessels, sorting, cleaning, cutting, filleting, trimming and packaging various seafood products.
