In commemoration of the August solar eclipse view able from central Oregon, we designed and built in-house a mechanical representation of the solar system from the sun to Saturn.
made a collet holding draw bar for the headstock - now set up for 12 leaf pinions in .35 module.
Up graded the Gravity Escapement on a crown wheel. Also some views of the new pendulum.

The Girandole Clock is considered one of the most beautiful American clocks ever designed. We aimed to replicate this in a miniature format. I build whatever catches my eye, this inspired me. Something we did different in this project was to include 7 other horologists.
