A few weeks ago, I was invited to join some friends out in the South Dakota Badlands for a fun day shoot. I was absolutely amazed by how much wildlife we saw for such a short amount of time we spent there. Right now, the Bison are truly a sight to behold. They are currently wallowing, trying to shed their winter coats. They also wallow to help keep the flies away. They really are such magnificent and powerful animals. Hearing their bodies hit the dirt as they wallowed was such a surreal, auditory experience to witness. I was also able to capture Byron and Wes during a breathtaking sunrise that I will never forget. Again, huge thanks to those dudes for inviting me out for a fun day of shooting.

I highly encourage everyone to go visit the Badlands of South Dakota. You certainly won't forget it.
