Histotripsy works by generating precise acoustic pulses that create tiny bubbles inside targeted tissue. These bubbles collapse rapidly, mechanically disrupting tumor cells while helping preserve nearby structures such as blood vessels.

Because the procedure is non-invasive and does not rely on heat or radiation, researchers say it may offer a new treatment option for some patients with Liver cancer. Clinical research continues as doctors evaluate how the technology may be used in future cancer care.
