A couple of years ago, I got a Whirley Pop popcorn popper and a few pounds of green coffee beans, and I started roasting coffee. I'd roast a half pound at a time, one pound per week, and my wife and I were the primary consumers. I experimented with different roast profiles. It has been a while since posting here, but there are exciting new coffees to be had! This week will see the introduction of an organic honey-processed coffee from Honduras and a stellar washed process microlot from Finca el Alto in Costa Rica at the Simpsonville Farmers Market. Come on out and get some.

Another Saturday is upon us. I'm roasting our Costa Rican and Nigusse Lemma beans for pickups tomorrow. If you'd like to grab some beans between 10:00 and 10:30 at City Park, just let me know and I'll have 'em waiting.
