Intentional Exposure 👶🐾

This was a video we made for a client during one of their Day Train outings. They have a baby on the way, so building both exposure AND control around children is a huge priority right now.

This is exactly what we mean by intentional exposure—we’re not just putting the dog in the environment and hoping for the best. We’re creating structured reps where the dog can learn how to exist calmly, make good decisions, and stay engaged with the handler, even with real-life distractions.

A lot of people wait until the baby arrives to address this… but by then, it’s already a high-stress situation for everyone involved.

The goal is to prepare the dog ahead of time, so when life changes, the dog already understands what’s expected instead of trying to figure it out in the moment.
