This morning our President & COO, Hari Sivaprakasam, helped kicked off Day 1 of Frontline Leadership Training with The Perritt Group. Sunland's Cohort 11 is a talented cross-functional group of team members from across our network. We are grateful to provide them with the opportunity to learn from industry experts, connect with one another, & grow as leaders.

With the DMAIC model approach, a cross-functional team at Sunland is focused on a project charter using automation to improve the process and technology of stretch wrapping outbound pallets at one of our operations located in Greenville, SC. The purpose of the project is to:

• Improve Safety by keeping operators on the forklift while wrapping equipment is in use.

• Increase capacity to support customer daily order variations during peak volumes while avoiding over-time costs.

• Reduce material waste to improve sustainability and generate costs savings.

Our team is excited to implement the automation, audit & measure the results, and then expand the best practice in other sites across our Sunland network.

Thank you to our team members at our Hampton Park & Victor Hill sites in Greenville, SC for leading a project to collect & deliver supplies for their local fire department. We are grateful for our brave first responders and our wonderful Sunland Team Members!
