We’re now halfway through Black History Month — a time to honor the history, leadership, and ongoing contributions of Black communities in the pursuit of justice.

This Friday, February 20 at 6:00 pm at Sligo Middle School, we’ll gather to mark World Social Justice Day — a global reminder that dignity, equity, and belonging require both reflection and action.

These observances are connected. Black History Month invites us to remember and learn. World Social Justice Day calls us to strengthen our commitment to fairness and inclusion — right here in our own community.
