The National Cherry Blossom Festival is about to get a little heavier, a little grittier, and a whole lot more soulful.
Slade Band is bringing that raw, blues rock & soul energy straight to the stage. The kind that doesn’t just hit your chest, it moves your spirit,
And lingers with you long after the last note fades.
Come Share The Love ❤️!
Last night at MiXt Foodhall was one of those nights that reminds me why my journey of spiritual connection goes beyond entertainment.
Much respect and thanks to Charles “Red” Adkins for riding shotgun. Red’s the kind of player who doesn’t just play the bass — he lays the road down under the wheels. When you’re out there trying to tell a story, it’s a whole lot easier when someone like Red is walking that road with you.
Big thank you to MiXt Foodhall for the hospitality, the love, and connecting the community.
The truth is, this music journey isn’t always easy. Long nights, heavy gear, chasing songs that don’t always come when you call them. But like an old blues saying goes:
“The road can be hard, but it’s a whole lot better when you don’t have to walk it alone.”
Grateful for the music, the people, and the miles ahead.
Peace & Love ~ Slade
