Funk in Focus is a philosophy built on making space for creative expression through the use of traditional African American artforms known as Boogaloo, Robottin, Struttin and Popping. We build lesson plans gearred specifically for the needs of each individual student. Some of, but not all of the educational focuses in our private classes are listed below:

This summer, we’re focusing on the foundations that help dancers grow beyond moves and into deeper understanding.
Each month includes:
• New tutorials
• Two live group sessions
• A community jam session after every workshop

July → Musicality, Pockets & Dance Principles
August → Feeling Inside Styles & Dance Fundamentals
Whether you’re building your popping foundation, refining your musicality, or looking for a stronger connection to the dance, this series is designed to help you level up with guidance, discussion, and community.
