This month’s tour on August 23rd will have a special focus on the years NPS spent as an army medical center and annex to Walter Reed General Hospital. Joining in leading this tour will be SOS board member Don Hall, who recently spoke on the subject at the nearby National Museum of Health and Medicine.

The tour will begin at 1 and last around two hours. Tours are free for SOS members and children 12 and under, and $10 for nonmembers. Reserve your spot on the tour by emailing us at [email protected]

Join us for a tour of the Glen at National Park Seminary on November 10th. Come learn more about the paths, historic structures, and unique features still on our campus and see photos of others that are long gone. A few paved historic paths have recently been uncovered!

The tour begins at 1:30pm and will last around two hours. The tour is limited to those 12 years old and older, and the terrain is uneven with some obstacles, so please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes.
