๐ถ What an amazing second week with Pete the Cat theme week! Campers will spent the week singing, dancing, creating art, and reenacting playful adventures inspired by everyoneโs favorite cool blue cat. It was a week full of imagination, movement, and FUN!

โจโ๏ธOur last day of school and last day of Spirit Week! Everyone showed their SK pride! ๐๐๐
๐ง We ended the year with a popsicle treat!
โจWe are so grateful for the laughs and great memories! We are missing our PreK friends but are so excited for their next adventure! ๐บ๏ธ

๐๐Itโs Spirit Week here at SK!! ๐๐
โจDay 1 was all about dressing up as your favorite character from any movie, book, show, etc!
We had Rapunzelโs, Pinkalicious, Cat in the Hat, Paddington, Peppa Pig, Gabbyโs Playhouse, Encantos Isabella and more!
A great day filled with imagination, fun and memories all around! ๐

โจ Teacher Spotlight: Bertha Canas โจ
Ms. Bertha teaches our 2โs enrichment class and also supports our Pre-K program, and sheโs been part of the Spring Knolls community for 4 years ๐
She describes her teaching style as caring, approachable, and passionate โ and she loves getting to watch children grow from the toddler years all the way to Pre-K graduation.
Her favorite parts of the day are circle time and reading with the children, and she believes learning through play should be full of fun, silliness, and smiles for kids, teachers, and parents alike.
One recent moment that made her smile? Hearing a child who once struggled with drop-off happily say, โI like coming to school.โ ๐
A few fun facts about Ms. Bertha:

๐ Favorite classroom activity? Free-style dancing and letting the sillies out.

โจ Moment of the Week: Reaching for the Stars ๐
Our Pre-K class spent the last two weeks exploring the solar system! ๐โจ From creating planets and building rocket ships to learning about the sun โ๏ธ and moon ๐, their curiosity truly took off.
Through hands-on activities and circle time, students discovered how day and night connect to our place in spaceโwhile letting their creativity shine every step of the way!
We loved watching their imaginations soar! ๐ซ
