MEET OUR ACTORS! InterAct Story Theatre would like to introduce you to Hannah Chester, Brian Lloyd Jimenez, Tia Nellie, and Melissa "Max" Shohet at our 9th Annual KidStory Theatre Festival!. InterAct Story Theatre’s Wheaton Family Theatre Series, for kids and families, returns to Highland Elementary School this Saturday, May 16 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m. FREE and OPEN to the public. Come join us for a theatrical celebration of stories by our favorite authors: kids! • Hannah Chester (she/her) is thrilled to be joining InterAct for KidStory Theatre Festival! She is a local actor and dancer in the area and hopes you enjoy the show!
• Brian Lloyd Jimenez (he/him)loves playing pretend and visiting imaginary worlds, and he's excited to do it at the KidStory Theatre Festival for the first time. He dedicates this performance to his new nephew, Cy, who he can't wait to play pretend with soon!
• Tia Nellie (she/her) is an actor, playwright, and multidisciplinary creative from Baltimore, Maryland. She is so excited to make her debut with InterAct through the fun Kidstory Theatre Festival plays! Instagram:
• Melissa "Max" Shohet (they/them) is a member of the Theatre Washington 2026 Mentorship Cohort, and proud alum of the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Johns Hopkins University, and many a library story time. They can't wait to join InterAct Story Theatre in giving back to the DMV community and bringing real children' s stories to life (now with 100% more dinosaurs and chocolate gorillas)!
