I spent 23 years on Capitol Hill, starting as a part time legislative assistant, rose through the ranks, and retired as a Chief Counsel for Oversight of a Congressional Committee. I know the legislative process. I know how to find waste in government. And I know how to make government responsive.
Honored to attend the launch of Business Leaders Fighting Hunger. This partnership of business, nonprofits and for profit companies will make a difference in Montgomery County. As one of the wealthiest places in the nation, no one should be hungry here. I'm honored to stand with Kevin Beverly, President of SAIC--a founding member of this partnership--a businessman, philanthropist and all around good guy!
