We join in congratulating Sr. Bridget Bearss, RSCJ, on being named the 2026 Commencement Speaker at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart.

An educator, artist-writer, and advocate for justice, Sr. Bridget also serves as a Board Member for Friends in Solidarity. We are grateful for her leadership, compassion, and commitment to global solidarity.

We are delighted to announce that Sister Bridget Bearss, RSCJ, will serve as the 2026 Commencement Speaker! 🎓✨

An educator, artist, writer, and advocate for justice, Sr. Bearss currently serves as Associate Director for Transformative Justice at the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR). Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to building communities grounded in dialogue, compassion, hope, and social justice.

With more than 35 years of leadership and service within the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, Sr. Bearss brings the heart of an educator and a deep commitment to spirituality, creativity, and transformational leadership.

We look forward to welcoming Sr. Bearss as she shares her wisdom and experience with the Class of 2026 at Commencement on June 4. 💙💛

Mission

As spring turns to early summer here in the U.S., signs of growth and renewal are everywhere. In South Sudan, that same spirit can be found in communities working toward stronger futures through sustainable agriculture.
