Cayton Ranger Station Foundation

Our vision is to share with you the special experience of visiting, in its natural setting, one of the oldest ranger stations in the United States. The cabin will be open and available for you to see and touch the implements with which Ranger Cayton and his wife Birdie made their life together on the National Forest. You might feel the heat from the stove that kept them warm, and you will have the opportunity to read and hear about their lives in service to the land and the community.
