Dear friends and customers,

Since 2006, Maccentric has had the privilege of serving the Apple user community of the Shreveport-Bossier area. The work you have entrusted to us - supporting your technology needs in your work, education, and play - has been a pleasure, but the true reward has been in the relationships we have formed with so many of you along the way.

Although it is not an easy decision, Maccentric will close on Saturday, May 3 as my family and I pursue a new endeavor. As always, I want to thank you for your support and enthusiasm over the years. Without it, we would not have had this unique opportunity to do meaningful work we enjoy, while also supporting our families, right here in our hometown.

I also want to thank my family and friends for their unwavering encouragement over the years, as well as the many staff members who have contributed to Maccentric’s longevity and success.

It is said that Apple co-founder Steve Jobs would often suggest, “The journey is the reward.” I would have to agree. This leg of the journey - serving you and working with so many talented and interesting people over these almost-two decades - has been quite the reward indeed.
