Though the first astronauts to set foot on the moon are frequently brought up, have you heard about the first human in space? 🤔

🚀 The first human in space was Yuri Gagarin. During the 108-minute flight, his spacecraft, Vostok 1, circled the Earth at a speed of 27,400 kilometers per hour. A computer controlled Vostok's re-entry. Unlike the early American human spaceflight missions, Gagarin did not land inside a capsule.
