We saved the shanty for today!!!!! But everyone please call/email the city to let them know you want the shanty to be saved for years to come!!!

Every please spread the word on this and invite friends to this! We almost have 100 people already but I know we can do better!!

This is the kind of mindset I most commonly hear from most of the people who want the building ripped down.
Tear down to open up land for new buildings......cause that's working so well on the other side of the river bank with eyesores of empty vacant land ready for years...
I am not one to manipulate the markets but I do know simple supply and demand. When you have multiple vacate NEW buildings ready to rent all with in walking distance you will find the buildings and land become of less value.

Editorial: Right call on riverfront shanty As much as we appreciate the history of commercial fishing and the Sheboygan River, we think the city is making the right call with its plan to remove one of the old fish shanties and replace it with a new one.
