reland. Prior to pursuing his law degree, Kevin completed his Bachelors of Arts in English Literature at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. Through Washburn’s international program, he studied British Law and Early Romantic Literature at Cambridge University in England. Kevin began his legal career as a Staff Attorney at the Levy Craig Law Firm where he successfully worked on many lender liability cases, including two complex civil litigation cases leading to $7.8 and $1.3 million dollar awards for his clients. During his time at Levy Craig, Kevin not only assisted at the trial and appellate level of various commercial litigation cases, he also worked on the successful registration multiple trademarks with the United States Trademark and Patent Office. Kevin has served as a Real Estate Tax Research Analyst at H&R Block’s Tax Institute. During law school, Kevin had the honor of serving as a research assistant for the FCICI Chairman, Phil Angelides. Also while in law school, Kevin interned at the Missouri Public Defender’s Office Appellate Division where he gained valuable experience drafting post-conviction appellate briefs. Prior to practicing law, Kevin worked as a Behavioral Specialist and Parent Aide with Behavioral Innovations LLC. His law review article, The Inevitable Collision of Sex-Determination by Cell-free Fetal DNA in Non-Invasive Prenatal Genetic Diagnosis and the Continual Statewide, can be found in the Winter 2012 edition of the UMKC Law Review.
