Meet Tristan! She attended one of our Talking Turkey classes a few years ago, and this spring she finally checked a turkey off her bucket list! 🦃💚

After several seasons of being outsmarted by gobblers, Tristan refused to give up. As she sat in the woods with her husband and son, she quietly asked her Uncle Manny, who loved the outdoors but had since passed away to send her one bird if he was watching over their hunt. 🥹 Just as they were about to move, a tom appeared out of nowhere. Not only was it her first-ever turkey, but it turned out to be an incredible five-bearded tom!! The emotions poured out as years of persistence finally paid off!

For Tristan, the harvest was about more than a turkey. It was about honoring someone she loved, sharing an unforgettable moment with her husband, and inspiring her son to embrace the outdoors and cherish moments spent in nature! ❤️
