So peaceful to wake up where the mountains meet the sky. Even on a cloudy, rainy day, it’s so beautiful here.

This little deli inside of a Citgo gas station has the best burger I’ve ever eaten. I’m excited it is getting some recognition but hope that doesn’t make our hidden gem a crowded destination!

Owning a cabin has its share of surprises - I never expected to hire a herd of goats! Kudzu is an invasive species that is very difficult to get rid of, and this year it took over our mountain. Luckily the folks at Knox Goats have an environmentally friendly way to take care of it (plus the people are absolute pros). We are so excited to see what these goats can do! Hope they're hungry!
