The Salto del Guayabo is one of the most exotic and spectacular natural attractions of Cuba. It is located southeast of Mayarí, municipality of the eastern province of Holguin, 546 meters above sea level, exactly on the Pinares de Mayarí plateau.

Although it is known as the Salto del Guayabo, there are actually two jumps in the La Mensura National Park, with their respective vertical water falls: the largest of 127 meters in height followed by another of 85.
