Today is our 14th Anniversary. One of the biggest things I've learned in life is that in the worst life events often lies a silver lining... you just don't know what that is yet. In 2008, while skiing in Colorado, I suffered a heart attack (ended up diagnosed as cardio myopathy caused by adrenaline and altitude). It was a scary time and spending 3 days in ICU gives you a lot of time to think. A lot of unknowns... but it was during that time that I decided I was going to quit the stressful job I had and go back to school and finish up my degree. Ended up graduating after 2.5 years, earning my degree in Graphic/Web Design & Advertising, and then DaBiri Designs was born. On this day,14 years after opening for business, I can say it was absolutely one of the BEST decisions I ever made in my life. Had I not had the health scare in 2008, I can't say this would have happened. May your troubled times be followed by the biggest and best silver linings ✌️❤️🙂🍻
