It’s Careers in Construction Month and we’re proud partners of the Central Valley Training Center pre-apprenticeship program! 🦺 The program introduces students to 10+ trades and has provided more than 100,000 hours of training. Graduation is almost near for the current cohort of the Central Valley Training Center!

🏗️ Students recently toured high-speed rail construction and visited the Hanford Viaduct. During the tour, they had the opportunity to speak with craft workers who shared their experience working on the nation's first high-speed rail project!

The pre-apprenticeship program is a no-cost, 10-week program where students receive introductions to 10+ trades, hands-on experience with journeyman-level workers & more. Get more information here: cvtcprogram.com

How the high-speed rail project trains workers and provides thousands of jobs in the Central Valley The Central Valley Training Center opened in 2020 to offer a pathway to a trade for regional residents to learn and one day work for the high-speed rail. Today, 223 students have graduated from the program.
