Happy Earth Day week! 🌎We are busy little bees 🐝 out in the community!

Earth Day Celebration in Flagstaff with the City yesterday, the annual plant sale with the Sedona Village Rotary today, and, as you know, with on Earth Day (Wednesday) for their big ribbon-cutting and fundraiser!

Come see us until noon today at the plant sale in the Village of Oak Creek by the library, and get your first month of residential collection service for free when you join the Crowd in honor of Earth Day!

(A story that I don’t think I’ve ever put on social media is that when we first started Compost Crowd in January 2018 it was our “get your first month of service free for Earth Day“ promo in April that properly launched the business by signing up our first 40 households!

So, it’s a bit nostalgic every year to welcome new members into the Crowd in that same way!

We were honored to be recognized by the with nominations for an ATHENA Award and the Flagstaff Green Business category.

Though we didn’t win, it was an inspiring event meeting the remarkable women contributing to the community in a meaningful way. A big congratulations to , and Caitlin Burd — the 2026 ATHENA awardees!

To our beloved Crowd, never forget that these nominations are yours. We do this work WITH you and when Compost Crowd is being elevated in this way it is YOUR daily habit and commitment to food waste diversion and environmental sustainability that is being recognized.
