Today was an amazing experience. I attended my first ever DGPT event, met a ton of incredible people including some of my heroes and inspirations, got a bunch of autographs, and learned a little more about myself and my own disc golf game.
Getting to play an Elite level course like Harvey Penick was a very special experience in itself.
I also had the unique opportunity to vend during the first day of the event with my company, Disc-Topia, thanks to an awesome friend I recently had the pleasure of meeting.
The Open at Austin was a huge success, and I’m truly honored to have been a part of it. I’ve always been passionate about disc golf, but this event deepened my love and appreciation for the sport even more.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this possible, especially the two amazing moms in my life: my wife Hannah and my mom, April McDaniel. Thank you both for your love, support, and for helping me live out a dream come true on Mother’s Day of all days! ♥️
