“stop crying.” “you’re too sensitive.” “pull yourself together.”

i spent years learning to hold it in. turns out the holding was the problem — not the tears.

crying is one of the ways your nervous system discharges what it’s been carrying and finds its way back to safety. it’s not the breakdown. it’s the repair. 🤍

some nights you don’t need another strategy. you need a way back into your body.

these seven prompts aren’t about producing insight or fixing what’s “wrong.” they’re about noticing what’s already there — the held breath, the bracing in your shoulders, the part of you that’s been keeping watch too long.

your nervous system isn’t a problem to solve. it’s a system to support. and support starts with attention, not effort.

save this for a night you need it. 🤍 and if you want the full practice, comment RESET and i’ll send you the workbook.

The world said war.
My nervous system said: listen closer.

So I slept in and heard my kids laughing.
Let them design my next tattoo.
Walked into a shop and made a new friend.
Came home to dinner and small, grounding gifts.

History moves loud.
Continuity moves quiet.

If the world feels heavy tonight, don’t try to solve it.
Find one small, real thing.
Stay there.

🤍

Comment “stay” and I’ll send you something grounding.

What most people call burnout is often nervous system collapse.

Collapse doesn’t respond to sleep, vacation, or a slower morning. It responds to safety. Regulation. Continuity

You don’t need to try harder. You need to feel safer in your own body.

This is what nervous system infrastructure is for.
