What we choose to wear, and how those items come to be, are not details to be taken lightly. MAKE THE DETAILS MATTER is a sentiment, a directive, and the brand purpose for LILLAGREN. For me, this means more sustainable resources and production. It is designing fabrics and individually sewing each scarf to create products that are both beautiful and useful. For you, this means thoughtfully handcrafted usable art.

A winter day at the ocean shore.🌊Forces of nature and shades of weather. Yes, please and why not?!✨I’m pairing this vibe of the PNW coast with some 90s favorites for the January Lillagren playlist.🌊For me personally, the 90s was a great era of positive change. Maybe this is why I’m feeling drawn back in to its music these days... Have a listen and hope you enjoy!✨Link in bio.

2025 was not as I expected. For so many reasons.🌿Keeping it focused here on myself and Lillagren, I am grateful for so much, and look for strength with all that I found challenging.🌿My world got smaller this year with a few big flexes. This refocus will perhaps become richer and sweeter. I was forced to slow down more than once. I finally listened to my body yelling at me. I turned focus to better honor and care for my body, mind and spirit.🌿My word for 2025 was GRACE, and honestly I’m still working on it.

Grateful for HIGHLIGHTS of 2025:
🌿I navigated two more solo road-trips, totaling nearly 7,500 miles and countless Love’s Travel Stops
🌿I travelled for work and pleasure, to and through 11 states, from sea level to 10,000+ feet
🌿I set up the Lillagren pop-up shop for another year of juried art festivals
🌿I immersed myself in the brilliance of spring blooms, summer fruit and fall leaves
🌿I visited my favorite spots in San Francisco, and spent weekends at stunning and historic Pacific Northwest destinations
🌿I wandered for glorious sunny days on ocean beaches
🌿I witnessed awe-inspiring landscapes, art and architecture
🌿I spent many days in my own company, and I still enjoy it
🌿I created new products, repurposed old fabric, made countless stitches with silk thread
🌿I shared precious time with family and friends
🌿I listened to stories from wonderful artisans and patrons across the country
🌿I learned something about myself with every interaction and experience

Embracing TRUTHS of 2025:
🌱I withdrew from six beautiful juried art shows that I was so looking forward to
🌱I cancelled trips because my body wasn’t up to the solo travel and shows
🌱I made the complex decision to not participate in travel for art shows this coming year
🌱I don’t know how the next year is going to unfold professionally
🌱I am not always sure how to be the change I want to see

I finish this year with gratitude, adjusted perspective, and of course, weariness. I begin 2026 with a focus on betterment of body, mind and spirit; welcoming changes that I cannot yet see.

Wishing you peace and hope. We are brighter and better together. In Lumine Luce and Happy New Year!🌿❤️xj
