Hey! I’m doing a little check-in for the new faces here :) I’m Roberto. I’m the Founder & CEO of Throwboy. I’m also the singer in my band Tio Nacho’s House, a vegan, Latino, and lover of all things PNW.

This year has been a huge transition for Throwboy as I decided to move all pillow production back to the US. This basically meant I took on the task of making every single pillow order myself (online orders, in-person, and wholesale) to get things off the ground. I know, what was I thinking? But I had to say goodbye to outsourcing my designs to China and step into my dream of owning my own pillow factory in Seattle again.

While it hasn’t been easy (and I apologize if your order is still in the queue. Your patience and understanding mean the world to me), this change has allowed me to create new designs much faster, respond to trends, get involved with the incredible art community in Seattle, and reconnect with my gift of sewing designer throw pillows.

I’m happy to say it’s been just over a year since I made this transition to USA-made production, and it’s almost complete! I’ll be hiring help and moving into a new space soon, so the long wait times will be a thing of the past soon.
