We'd like to take a moment to congratulate the Spring Quarter Rehearsal & Performance class for their recent showcase of the play "The Dining Room," at Freehold's Black Box Studio. It was directed by class instructor David Hsieh. In this celebrated play, a single, cherished piece of furniture becomes the centerpiece for a mosaic of interrelated lives.

In case you missed it, we thought we'd offer a short recap of Freehold's Stand-up Comedy Showcase on June 5th in front of a packed house in our Black Box Theatre. Students in Dan Hurwitz's Stand-Up Comedy class took the stage to tackle such topics as divorce, childbirth, and the French obsession with cheese, with warmth, wit, and charm.

Huge shout out and congratulations to newly crowned comedians Katie Davis, Miles Liatos, and Max Soufer! What a treat to see your talents! We can't wait to see you at the next open mic or comedy showcase around town.
