Minds Matter of Seattle is a non-profit mentoring and academic enrichment organization dedicated to transforming the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families by broadening their dreams and preparing them for college success.

We’re recruiting volunteer mentors and writing/math instructors for Minds Matter Seattle’s 2026–2027 school year.
Mentors walk alongside a brilliant high school student on their path to college, and instructors lead small-group writing or math sessions that build skills and confidence. We’re looking for people who show up, listen well, and genuinely want to make a difference in students’ lives.
