The last Sunday, Jun 27th we were treated to an exceptionally polished presentation by Nathan on his work with programming GPUs. We got thick into the code with this one and learned the difference between CPUs and GPUs and how parallel processing can enable people to solve problems involving massive numbers of data. Then we got to see the latest improvements in William's VR game, which took a big step forward with the inclusion of motion to the obstacles you have to dodge as a player. And if that wasn't enough, Yoly made ribs! Ribs and salad and rice and beans and cake, in honor of all our June babies. What a great night.
