Every property has its own challenges, and this one was no exception.

The neighboring yards had a significant change in elevation, so we installed a pressure-treated timber retaining wall to hold back the soil and provide a solid foundation for a beautiful clear cedar privacy fence. We also carefully worked around the existing trees to preserve the landscape while achieving a clean, finished look.

Throughout the project, we stayed in close communication with the homeowners, making sure they were happy with every decision along the way. We believe the best projects come from great craftsmanship paired with great communication.

This hillside project gave these neighbors the privacy they were looking for while matching each homeowner’s preferred style. One section features our modern horizontal cedar design, while the other showcases our Standard Plus style with a continuous top cap for a timeless look.

Behind the scenes, we installed jumbo pressure-treated posts to provide the strength needed for Seattle’s sloped terrain. A fence is only as good as what’s holding it up.
