ery first songs, “anything that’s any good is temporary”. We always said that when it wasn’t fun we would stop. That was 2010. After a couple of years we played a few 'reunion' shows. Pretty fun but always felt like looking backwards. A nostalgic exercise. We'd practice the old songs a couple of times, show up and play them as best we could then go back to our other projects. But things are different now. We’re learning how to really play and write together again. The best MRK songs were always the ones that each of us had a hand in and we're getting back to that place. It’s feeling like the old days collaborating and excited to be together every time. In 2017 we’ll release a new record, our first in 8 years. Memphis Radio Kings are Tim (guitars, singing), Charlie (singing, bass, tambourine), and Tony (drums, keyboards, singing). We’ll be playing shows, writing songs and having a blast. Join us, won’t you?
