Our work is grounded in the simple, yet revolutionary belief every person should be able to live safely, openly, and genuinely in all the places we call home.

This is a critical moment for LGBTQ+ communities across the Northwest. From legislative attacks to shifting policy landscapes, the stakes are high and staying connected to what’s happening in our region has never been more important.

We invite you to join us on May 14th at 1pm PT for our State of the Region webinar, where we’ll break down what we’re seeing and what it means for our communities.

Today, we mark the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader whose work is too often remembered in fragments, rather than for the full moral and political clarity it demanded.

Dr. King understood that justice is not passive and that hope without action is fragile. His legacy calls us not only to remember, but to engage — to confront systems of harm and to organize for a more just and liberated future.

That call feels especially urgent right now. In our latest blog, we’re inviting you into that spirit of action. Read more: https://pridefoundation.org/2026/01/from-dreaming-to-action-honoring-the-legacy-of-dr-king/

Each year, Pride Foundation’s scholarship reviewers play a vital role in supporting LGBTQ+ students across the Northwest.

Volunteers help review scholarship applications, ensuring students are met with care, fairness, and encouragement as they pursue their education.

Our scholarship review process is fully online and takes place in two phases: January–February and March–April.

Volunteers can participate in one or both phases, with an estimated 25 hours per phase, spread out over time.
