This is unacceptable. Filling out a request for a TIN and did NOT want to answer this question. Yes they are married. No they are not "husband and wife."
The IRS has had almost 6 years to change this to, "Are the members married to each other?"

It's would be great for all my small biz folx out there to write to their Senators and ask them to support S.4117 - Paycheck Protection Small Business Forgiveness Act.
New Legislation Would Grant Automatic Forgiveness of PPP Loans Under $150,000 The smallest of small businesses may be able to avoid hassling with additional documents, worksheets and payroll/tax forms.
