"One of our greatest American Anglo-esque bands" (The Big Takeover) Beautiful, dreamy post-punk from Seattle. "Holy [expletive]!" - Jack Rabid, The Big Takeover

"This Seattle band’s second album is a well-crafted blend of post-punk and dream-pop with atmospheric guitars and synths, driving rhythms, ethereal vocals, hypnotic song hooks and lyrics of grief, love and loss." – KEXP

Hallo Berlin!!!
(Als Vorbereitung: We ventured out to this afternoon to play loud at our first-ever EU rehearsal. Klingt echt gut. Und riecht deutlich besser als Proberäume in Seattle!)
Bis morgen! Xx Geoff and Kim

We’ve been thinking a lot about transcendence lately. We are deep in writing our next album, and the thread that continues to emerge is very much around absorbing and emanating light, leaning into life’s wondrous synchronicities and the connective tissue that binds us to each other, to our deepest selves and the beyond.

It’s a beautiful space to inhabit and one that feels necessary for our times. Not to escape reality, but to embrace moments of connection, clarity, beauty. To find, create, gently hold, and spread light. To remain soft and strong.

Immersing in music feels connective and pure. The act of creating, playing, and listening (in solitude and with others) helps transcend pain – both physical and mental. Singing releases oxytocin and is proven to reduce anxiety. Playing / creating puts us in an almost meditative flow state. Enjoying music with others (and releasing music into the world) connects us to community and attracts kindred spirits.

Music serves both as an escape and a way to be fully present with emotions, however challenging. It makes us feel less isolated, even when we’re hibernating or stuck at home because of injury or condition. It truly is a beautiful salve, and we are so grateful for all the silvery threads of beauty, catharsis, and connection it brings to our lives.

We hope you are finding ways to tap into states of flow, beauty, peace, and connection – both within your inner worlds and through the energy you release into the communities you engage with. We need higher energy states to remain porous and connected to each other and to counterbalance the darkness gathering around us.

With love and light xx
