On this day in 2016, our 2nd album SECRETS was released. It felt like we were just getting started, and there was something really special about the exploratory direction that this one took. It was denser and darker than our first, more collaborative, orchestral and hard hitting and I was trying out dreamier elements in production that made us excited about the world we were creating. It was the first album where we got to truly the country and to watch it build and to feel the propulsive energy and love at shows. It felt so purposeful and alive, that’s always the aim right? My deepest love for Peter, Elliot (this was his first album!) Gary, Darrell Thorp for his insane engineering, Luke Vander Pol who co produced, engineered and mixed it , John Raines for writing the sickest bass line for Secrets, Matt Wignall who created the album art & visuals and everyone who’s been with us all this time. Eternally grateful for the support. We could not have journeyed this far without you. ♥️🌹♥️🌹
