We’re always on the lookout for plants that feel a little different, gathered from many places around the world.🧳💭

And sometimes, that curiosity doesn’t stop there.
We enjoy crossing plants, experimenting with new combinations, and seeing what forms might emerge when different traits come together.💡

Along the way, our collection has grown to cover
💠Anthurium,
💠Monstera,
💠Platycerium,
💠Philodendron,
💠Alocasia,
💠Syngonium, Aglaonema, and other tropical plants we continue to explore.

Every plant carries its own character. Solitude is common, thankfully there are plants 🌈🌈🪴

❄️❄️❄️
December is my favorite but busiest month out of the year. Holiday lights, so many fam reunion moments to celebrate, and with Mt. Rainier glowing under a fresh layer of snow❄️🏔️, the season feels complete!

Are you letting yourself slow down between all the holiday plans? I hope so. And if not, let the warmth of your tropical plants light up the cold of winter. 🎄☃️

Hey, I’m Ryan from Seattle Tropical Garden, and we grow tropical plants here in this rainy city.

My love for plants started when my grandmother taught me how to plant my first sunflower🌻I checked that pot every morning, felt the soil with my fingers, moved it into the sun, and waited to see something new. I still remember how surprised I was when that first flower finally opened. When I grew up, plants stayed with me. They gave me peace when life felt stressful, and joy when I felt alone.

Three years ago, I launched an Etsy plant shop called Seattle Tropical Guy. I didn’t expect much, but orders started coming in. Last year, we joined PalmStreet and began live-streaming. And thanks to those platforms, we met more and more friends who love plants just like we do.

The journey hasn’t been perfect. There were ups and downs, like any path worth taking. But one thing never stopped growing is my love for plants.

So keep following what lights you up — you never know how far it will carry you! ☀️
