r acclaimed coaches led by directors Neil Welch and Evan Smith, in addition to daily guest performers. At the SSI you’ll build lasting musical relationships with students from Seattle and beyond. Focus areas for the SSI Summer Camp are available in jazz, classical, and creative improvisation. This exciting and engaging environment is limited to only 30 students. Saxophonists can expect to explore a wide variety of performance areas, including: jazz and creative improvisation, learning tunes, repertoire, composition, creating a unique sound, music theory, music history and much more! The final day of the camp will culminate with an evening performance at a Seattle music venue. Our camp is open to all saxophone students in 7th-12th Grades in two different sessions - Middle School and High School.
