Since 1993, we’ve been bringing preschool children and college students together through one-to-one mentoring relationships to build the language, literacy, and social-emotional skills necessary to succeed not just in school, but also in life.

Since 2003, UW undergraduates have worked with Seattle preschool children through the Jumpstart program. Since then we have served over 8,000 children from Des Moines, WA to Northgate, WA through curriculum delivery in preschool classrooms and community engagement events.
