Many nonprofit organizations are carrying a lot right now. Join Keri Kellerman for a community conversation exploring what burnout looks and feels like in our organizations and what it might look like to build workplaces that are more human, nourishing, and sustainable.
Together, we’ll reflect on questions like:
What does burnout look and feel like in our organizations?
How is burnout impacting people, teams, and the work itself?
What systems, assumptions, or inherited practices may be contributing to harm?
What would it look like to build organizations that are more nourishing and sustainable?

Five things we’re practicing in 2026.
Not trends. Not buzzwords.
Practices.
1. Service as relationship, not charity - Centering participation, skills-sharing, and contribution as ways communities stay connected and resilient.
2. Capacity-first planning - Letting staffing, energy, and care define scope instead of designing work and hoping capacity catches up.
3. Depth over scale - Choosing fewer, more durable commitments rather than stretching thin to meet rising demand.
4. Community relevance over legacy relevance - Letting present-day needs reshape priorities, even when that means letting go of past models.
5. Care as a core operating practice - Treating rest, reflection, and sustainability as necessary for impact, not optional benefits.
