On a personal note, if William Hevly had not seen modern art at her gallery, as the director of UW/CCTV, he probably would not have let me bring my students into the studios year upon year, and there would not have been the video art of UW schooled Northwest Artists Norie Sato, Wm O Smith, Carl Chew, and many others.
