We're doing mini sessions! 20 minutes, 25 photos, for $250. Sunday, November 5 at Lincoln Park in Seattle. Space is limited.

This is the first time we're offering mini sessions. A quick and easy portrait session perfect for holiday cards or gifts, at a fraction of the usual portrait price. You can be a family, a couple, or even solo. Photos will be delivered within a week so you can order holiday cards and prints early.

First full day in Vancouver! Taught an intimate masterclass this morning about everything we've learned from the last ten years in business. Thinking about offering something like this in Seattle because it was really fun.

Happy weekend! We're Julia and Yuriy. We started sharing our work here about a year ago, but haven't really introduced ourselves since we post more often on our personal accounts. Thought this would be fun to connect with some of you.

10 Things About Us: 👫

1. We’re competitive. When we first met, Yuriy was trying to solve a rubix cube, so I decided I had to learn too. We then spent the summer facing off to see who could solve it faster, shaving the time down more and more. We’re constantly trying to out-do each other when we shoot together.

2. This summer was our ninth year shooting weddings together.

3. This month is our 6 year wedding anniversary. Our neighbor shot our wedding.

4. For our honeymoon, we traveled around the world for 6 months. People always ask where we’re going next, but we usually don’t have an answer because our trips are booked so last minute.

5. We were both born in Ukraine and had very similar childhoods—moving to America, both growing up with two brothers, two sisters, and parents who didn't speak English or fit in.

6. We hated shopping at thrift stores and garage sales as kids, and now we love both. Add estate sales, flea markets, and craigslist to the list. We love a good treasure hunt and scoring a deal.

7. Yuriy wants to try every outdoor activity, and I’ve followed in his footsteps with quite a few. Mountain biking, kayaking, sailing, scuba diving, surfing, backpacking, motorcycle riding (most recently)… first timer with every one because of Yuriy. I realize how boring my life would be without him.

8. We both speak Ukrainian, but only when we don’t want people to understand, or when we want to sound like our parents.

9. This summer we started on a dream creative project together—renovating a cabin in the mountains. We are sharing the project at .

10. One thing we wish we were better at is praying together. Prayer reminds us of what’s important in our lives.
