The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Finance team’s accounting operations, monthly close process, financial reporting, and audit readiness across the Foundation and its affiliated entities.

Senior Accountant | $85,000–$95,000

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role serves as a hands-on accounting lead responsible for coordinating day-to-day accounting activity, reviewing reconciliations and journal entries, supporting financial reporting, and helping build a more disciplined monthly close process.

The Senior Accountant will provide guidance and workflow support across the accounting team, including the Staff Accountant and Jr/AP accounting function, while helping ensure accuracy, accountability, and timely completion of key deliverables.

This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong month-end close ownership, general ledger and reconciliation depth, audit support experience, and the ability to balance leadership with hands-on ex*****on in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
