Merry worked with Akin's Early Head Start program to set goals for herself and her family. With the guidance of SMART goal-setting, personal perseverance and dedication, Merry completed all her goals, including the completion of her nursing degree at UW! She later joined Akin as a team-member and offered personal experience and perspective to other families.
