We’ve been asked for YEARS “Why do you put all anime under the umbrella of ‘Manga?’” and it comes down to how a lot of things go with our library— someone made an extremely strong case once upon a time and it stuck. It’s the same reason why the 28 days/weeks/years films are, to the chagrin of some, NOT in the Zombies section. Well, as the section continues to expand, it’s making less and less sense to throw everything in “Manga,” because it’s just not a fact for some films and tv shows. Many ARE based off of manga, but if there’s even one that isn’t, then what’s the point of putting that descriptor on it? Well, NO MORE! It’s ANIME now!! This has been a mammoth of an undertaking for staff, and they’re making quick work of it! (Thanks to Jas for prompting this once and for all)
