🎶 Exciting News! 🎶 NOCCO’s 2024 Concerto Competition is open! 🎻✨ This is a fantastic opportunity for high-school age musicians to perform with and lead a conductorless chamber orchestra. The competition is in two rounds: a YouTube video submission due in early August and a live final round held in Seattle in September. 🚨There are a few important changes that you should be aware of🚨:
▫️we encourage the performance of music in the public domain, but may accept works outside of that as long as the performer is willing to assume the cost of music rental ($500-$1000). Also, when choosing repertoire, please keep in mind orchestration limits for an orchestra of our size.
▫️all repertoire will need to be approved by NOCCO prior to submitting a recording for the preliminary round - to do this, please email [email protected] All of this information can be found on our website:
