Improving Partnership

One is not better or correct. We each bring something very unique to the world and our gifts can be used to support one another. Improving partnership helps promote understanding between the sexes so that we can each be our best selves.

Carve out and protect a time and location in your home to connect with and listen to your partner every single day. Be a safe listener, don’t interrupt, be curious, and you will be amazed at what you learn. Be prepared to experience a richer emotional connection. Unless you have your partner’s undivided attention you may not have their attention at all. Feelings of disconnect are the first warning signs that a partnership may not survive. Let me know if you feel like your partner is not listening to you and let’s troubleshoot a way to improve things. I am easiest to reach on the Marco polo app.

Whether you are in a partnership or not it’s critical that you identify the blockers to your joy and tackle them head-on. Make a list of the things that zap your energy and begin to work towards eliminating them. Set firm boundaries and ask for help. Prioritize your happiness so that the ripple effect can be felt in your family, your community and beyond. We need the healing that comes from joy & peace more than ever. Let me know if you need help figuring out what exactly is zapping your energy or how to set healthy boundaries. I’m easiest to reach on the Marco Polo app.

If you are feeling frustrated, exhausted, irritated or angry it’s time to renegotiate things with your partner. Simplify wherever possible! In our family we are choosing smoothies for dinner when we just don’t have time to cook a full meal. This simple transition has lightened the load and supported our physical well-being. Come find me on the app Marco Polo to say hi!
